Exciting Start to the Year: 95 New Affordable Homes Planned for Gloucestershire

What a great start to the new year as we’re pleased to announce the purchase of an 11 acre site in Gloucestershire for 95 new homes.

48 homes will be available for shared ownership, with the remaining 47 homes will be designated for affordable rent, making this another 100% affordable development. There will be a mix of 2, 3 and 4 bedroom homes, which will all be built by our in-house construction team.

We’ll be submitting detailed plans to Tewkesbury Borough Council shortly and aim to start work on site in early 2026. We're keen to secure more development sites in the West of England and West Midlands, so reach out to a member of our team if you have any suitable sites.

We are now drawing up detailed plans for the site which we aim to submit to Tewkesbury Borough Council in early 2025. The plans will be for a mix of two-, three- and four-bedroom homes and will include a play area and green areas around the site. The site will be developed by our in-house construction team, which aims to start work in early 2026. 

Head of Land Adam Frontczak said: “Securing this land in Highnam is another significant step of our goal to increase the amount of affordable housing in the West of England. We’re making this a 100% affordable housing development, with homes either for rent or low-cost home ownership. 

"We know there’s a need for good quality, affordable housing right across Gloucestershire with thousands of families on local authority waiting lists for housing. We’re committed to playing our part in increasing this supply by acquiring land and building high-quality energy efficient homes that benefit local families and foster a thriving community for many years to come.

Over the past 12 months we have secured land deals which will provide more than 600 homes at sites in Gloucestershire, Worcestershire and South Gloucestershire, while we continues to work alongside national homebuilders at sites across the West Midlands and West of England to deliver new affordable homes.
