Hillarys celebrates Black History Month

During Black History Month, we came together to celebrate the richness of history and culture within the Black community.
It was an opportunity for learning and appreciation, bringing us closer through shared experiences, understanding the struggles and promoting the talents of Black individuals throughout history and modern day.
Quote campaign: we circulated an inspirational quote a day from famous figures in Black history and modern day. Below are some of our favourites!
Lunch and Learn sessions: we hosted 3 sessions for everyone across the business to get involved in to promote awareness, education, and dialogue about the historical and contemporary contributions of Black individuals and communities. The sessions focused on different themes including; Representation, The impact of words and Racism.
Profiles of figures from Black History: we have featured these profiles across our communications platform across the month on inspirational modern day and historic individuals.
Quiz: we finally gave everyone the opportunity to engage with the content and quizzed colleagues on what they have learned across the month.
Thank you to everyone who took part in these across the month and thank you to our EDI Ambassadors for putting all of this together.
