Black History Month 2023 at Brit

Black History Month provides an opportunity for the insurance sector to reflect on its role in promoting diversity and social responsibility. It's a time for us to showcase our commitment to creating an inclusive and equitable environment and to engage with the broader community in meaningful ways. This not only helps raise awareness about the contributions of Black individuals but also underscores the importance of diversity in the insurance industry.
This year's Black History Month is all about highlighting the contributions and achievements of Black women. One of the ways we'll be marking the month at Brit is through a series of movie screenings organised by our R.I.S.E employee resource group.
We thank all of the ERG members for their work in arranging these events and look forward to the opportunity to get together and have some open conversations about race in the workplace, in particular how this is experienced by women.
Celebrating Black culture and its influence on technology
On Tuesday October 10th Brit and Ki colleagues are representing us at Black Tech Fest at the Magazine London, a vibrant festival celebrating Black culture and its influence on technology.
Our female colleagues on the stand shared their experience about life at Brit and Ki and the technology opportunities that we have on offer.
