If you fancy a job that mixes the ordinary with the highly extraordinary and definitely isn’t your average 9-5 desk job then policing could be for you.
Surrey Police is looking for new trainee officers.
As a constable no two days will be the same. Your day could start by being called to a road traffic collision, followed by a search for a missing person and then supporting a victim of crime. Your night shift could be spent on burglary patrols or patrolling a busy nightlife centre to ensure party goers are safe and well.
One thing’s for sure, you certainly won’t be bored!
You will be provided with high-quality, professional training to enable you to deal with the situations that you could come across and in the course of your policing career you will learn new skills, meet new people and have the opportunity to develop and progress; perhaps specialising as a firearms officer, dog handler or a detective.
Surrey Police has worked really hard to create a safe, open and inclusive culture to embrace all the difference that our officers and staff bring. The force has a range of staff networking groups to provide specific support and advice and is also proud to be a member of Stonewall.
