That’s the vision we set out in Let's Create and now we’re sharing how we’ll achieve it. We’ve published Creative Health & Wellbeing: our plan for how we’ll work in health and social care to help people and their communities live happier, healthier lives.
Creativity and culture have a key role to play in all aspects of people’s positive wellbeing, from contributing to healthy lives and social connections, to being part of treatment and recovery needs, and even through to helping those in acute care settings.
We’re excited to build on our long history of championing wellbeing through creativity and culture by growing strategic partnerships (including with National Academy for Social Prescribing and NHS England), a place-based approach, and skills development for creative practitioners.
Publishing this plan is an Action from the Delivery Plan for our strategy for 2020-2030, Let’s Create. We’ve published a refreshed Delivery Plan today to reflect our progress and update our plans as we respond to a post-pandemic creative and cultural sector.
