Amentum's Integrated Delivery Solutions (IDS) team in Kraków provides multidisciplinary project support across civil and structural engineering, project controls, planning, cost management and document control for complex projects in nuclear, energy and industrial facilities. Tomasz Sowa leads its Civil and Structural Engineering team, which covers steel and reinforced concrete structures, advanced analysis, drainage and flood protection design, and BIM-based 2D/3D delivery from concept through to detailed design.

My Story

With over 17 years of experience in civil and structural engineering, I have built my career delivering complex international projects across the industrial, infrastructure and energy sectors.

Starting out as a Structural Engineer in Kraków, I progressed through technical and managerial roles, gaining experience across the full project lifecycle, from concept design through to construction and commissioning.

My Team

The Integrated Delivery Solutions team at Amentum delivers complex projects in highly regulated industries such as nuclear, energy and industrial facilities, where safety, compliance and technical precision are critical.

I lead the Civil and Structural Engineering team at Amentum IDS in Kraków, combining technical leadership with people management and project delivery in a global environment. My team's expertise includes:

→ Drainage, stormwater and infrastructure design

→ Flood protection and water-related systems

→ Building Information Modelling (BIM) and coordinated 2D/3D delivery

This allows us to support projects from concept through to detailed design. I am responsible for leading structural design scopes, taking technical ownership of complex projects, and ensuring high-quality delivery across multidisciplinary teams. Alongside my leadership responsibilities, I remain actively involved in engineering, particularly in solving complex structural challenges and supporting my team technically.
