Job description
The VacancyBrunelcare's mission is to provide person-centred care, housing, support, and community living for later life and this role plays an important part in bringing that to life. We are seeking an experienced Healthy Homes Surveyor to join our Asset Management team, helping to ensure our homes remain safe, high-quality, and provide excellent value for money.
About the Role You'll be an experienced housing or property professional with a strong understanding of HHSRS, building pathology and housing legislation. You'll have experience investigating property defects and managing damp, mould and condensation cases, with the confidence to assess risks, identify solutions and oversee remedial works through to completion.
We're looking for someone who can combine technical expertise with excellent communication skills. You'll be comfortable explaining complex issues to residents, contractors and colleagues, managing challenging situations with empathy and professionalism, and influencing outcomes through collaboration rather than direct authority.
You'll be organised, analytical and proactive, with the ability to manage a varied caseload and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment. Most importantly, you'll share our commitment to delivering safe, high-quality homes and providing outstanding service to our residents, while embodying Brunelcare's values of kindness, integrity, teamwork and going the extra mile.
