IGS are looking for a number of CHIS handlers to support an ongoing and developing project in London. Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 09:00-16:00 or 09:00-17:00 Day rate: £400 per day PAYE Working arrangements: On site in London 3-4 days per week, with potential to work from home one day per week where circumstances allow. Role overview We are seeking a qualified CHIS Handler to support an authority in developing intelligence through handler-led activity. This is a low-volume, low-risk role focused primarily on white-collar crime, working as part of a blended team of CHIS Handlers across London. Key responsibilitiesMeet with informants across London and, where required, the surrounding home counties.Work collaboratively within a team of CHIS Handlers across London.Support the development of intelligence in line with operational requirements.Maintain accurate records and apply appropriate professional standards when handling sensitive information.Operate in accordance with RIPA and relevant codes of practice.Essential requirementsQualified CHIS Handler to UK National Standards.CHIS credentials used within the last 12 months.Expert understanding of RIPA and relevant codes of practice.Current SC clearance. (we can help with this if required).Must have come from UK Law Enforcement.Ability to work on site in London for 3-4 days per week.Desirable experienceUnderstanding of financial crime would be beneficial but is not essential.What is providedLaptop, ID pass and secure phone provided.Travel required for job purposes will be paid.
