Location: The Bemrose School, Derby
Hours: 32 hours a week, 52 weeks a year (1265 hours including INSET)

An exciting opportunity has arisen at The Bemrose School due to a rapidly growing cohort across the whole school. We are looking to recruit a High-Level Teaching Assistant to lead and work with pupils in English and Literacy across our pupils aged 11-19. The post will suit a colleague who has experience of working with pupils who need support on their journey to be the best versions of themselves. The post has created an exciting opportunity for a successful candidate to join an established and growing support team that makes a real difference to the education of our pupils.

Applicants need to be, well organised, resourceful and flexible, resilient and not fazed by a challenge. They should demonstrate their ability to work with colleagues and children effectively and must enjoy working with young people.

The successful applicant must be committed to promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and will be DBS and DBA checked. They will have strong good interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently.
