The firm’s social mobility programme, designed to support students from lower socio-economic backgrounds.

Over the course of a year, you’ll gain real insight into the legal profession, develop key skills, and connect with professionals who want to help you succeed. Here's what you'll get from the programme:

·        Mentoring from a Mills & Reeve lawyer

·        Workplace experience in our Manchester office

·        Skills workshops on communication, teamwork, and problem-solving

·        Networking with business leaders and legal professionals

·        A group project presented to real lawyers

·        Travel and lunch covered for in-person events

Key dates and who can apply?

You must be:

·        In Year 12

·        Attending a state school or college

·        And meet one or more of the following:

·        First in your family to go to university

·        Eligible for free school meals in the last six years

·        From a low-income household

·        Have spent time in care

We recommend at least five GCSEs at grades 9–4, but we’re interested in your potential more than anything, so please do apply even if you don’t meet this criteria.
