An experienced Project Manager is required to join Information Management team at Willis Towers Watson (WTW). Information Management are responsible for the definition, planning and delivery of the Corporate Risk and Broking Data Strategy. This is an exceptional opportunity to play a key part in the transformation of a global financial services organisation.
Proactive Engagement with all stakeholders throughout the Solution Delivery Life Cycle to ensure a full end to end delivery has been implemented
Build effective working relationships with business and technology stakeholders
Facilitate a collaborative team environment across all areas of business and technology
Lead project delivery teams providing clear project structure, direction and prioritisation
Work within the Project Delivery Framework following Project Management best practice and governance
Creation and maintenance of project artefacts (e.g. Project Initiation Document, Project Plans, Risk Log etc.) to support project delivery
Ensure the proposed solutions meet the stakeholders needs whilst complying with WTW Group Strategic Architectural, Security and Compliance guidelines
Work with fellow Project Managers to manage inter project dependencies
Produce regular, concise and accurate progress reports to project stakeholders
Effectively manage, resolved and escalate Risks, Issues and Dependencies
Facilitate project estimation including timelines and resources/skill sets required for both new and change requests within active projects
Ensure applications are fully transitioned to Service Management
Accountable for Change Request management including impact assessment.
Experience of managing full IT project lifecycle from idea to through to hand-over to operational support
Proven experience of both waterfall and agile delivery methods and understanding appropriate applications of each
Ability to engage with business and technology stakeholders at all levels, both on and off shore, and across various geographies / time-zones
Ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders to report on progress against agreed deliverables and to highlight/escalate any issues or barriers to delivery
Ability to manage multiple projects and releases concurrently
Worked in a regulated industry, complying with corporate governance standards
Production and maintenance of key project management artefacts including Project Plan, RAID, Financials, Management Reporting, Resource Plan, Work Breakdown Structure, RACI etc.
Previously worked in a financial services organisation, ideally insurance
APMP or Prince2 qualified
Delivery of Data projects including Data Warehouses, Cloud Migrations, Business Intelligence
Delivered projects using various agile methodologies such as Scrum, KanBan, ScrumBan
Experience of leading delivery teams new to Agile through an Agile project delivery
Facilitation and coordination of business/user requirements gathering experience from key stakeholders and end users
