What will you be doing?

• The Maintenance Manager will oversee the maintenance to ensure the smooth running​ of the plant.
  
• Preparing the annual preventative maintenance program for all the site equipment & machinery.
  

• Ensuring suitable contractors are used and organise the raising of appropriate purchase orders for external work and control the inter-company work orders.
  

• Ensuring effective contractor control by utilising permit to work system and site Inductions.
  

• ​Organising the correct contractors to carry out planned and reactive maintenance to maximise the availability of plant and equipment.
  

• ​Ensuring breakdowns are dealt with effectively, as is reasonably practicable.
  
• Managing the site fitter including work allocation, training and day to day supervision.
  
• Updating and management of site operating procedures and risk assessment files.
  
• Organising the routine inspections and services on plant and equipment within manufacturers guidelines and the correct contractors accordingly.
  
• Organising and controlling plant modifications inclusive of commissioning of any new plant and machinery, ensuring that the correct files are up to date.
  
• Carrying out incident and accident investigations for the site.
  
• Working with the operations manager to ensure the site remains compliant to all legal requirements.
  
• Keeping the VMR (Veolia minimum requirements) operating procedures up to date for the site operations.
  

What we're looking for;

• Excellent organisation skills.
  
• Good understanding of current HSE regulations.
  
• Ability to work to set deadlines.
  
• Experience of process safety operations.
  
• Computer literate.
  
• NEBOSH Certificate in Health and Safety or equivalent.
