Amazon's Associate Development organization owns global management and innovation of career development of associates. The Career Choice program www.AmazonCareerChoice.com is a key product to support associates in their career advancement and is looking for an EU Program Manager to innovate and advance associate development across EU.

We partner with colleges, education providers and employers to bring classes and career advancement on-site to our fulfillment centers across Europe.

Roles and Responsibilities
The Amazon Associate Development team has an opportunity to be part of something big - working on the advancement of careers for our hourly associates across Europe! If you are a self-motivated talented Program Manager with experience in creating, road-mapping, and driving large scale people development programs, then you should consider growing your career with us. This role will focus on managing and innovating programs to simplify and scale the education experience for associates. Our team takes a data based approach to measure success and focus efforts on activity that drives successful upskilling of employee participants in our programs.

We expect that you come to the team with experience in higher education and vocational education and training in the EU. You will be responsible for quality assurance across our EU educational partners, facilitating quarterly business reviews, developing strategic interventions to increase program completion and job placement, and negotiating contracts. You should be able to take a data-driven approach to working with educational partners and be prepared to be a thought leader in the adult upskilling space.

Primary responsibilities:

* Manages the educational partner network across EU and South Africa and build quality assurance mechanisms

* Leads complex medium to large scale projects that are business critical, and may be global in nature. May lead other program managers and team members for large projects
* Plays a significant role with business leaders to promote career advancement across Europe
* Recommends improvements to the way our programs are scoped, built, and deployed
* Builds critical relationships and owns negotiations of agreements with customers, suppliers or other external partners
* Writes clear and detailed functional specifications based on complex business requirements
* May set and/or collaborate on business objectives in order to deliver best product/feature or system/process with most efficient use of resources and technologies
* Applies advanced knowledge of postsecondary education and systems to coordinate program design and launch within schedule and budget constraints
* Develops and delivers executive-level presentations to support the program and inform stakeholders and business leaders
* Experience using operational metrics to drive process improvement and efficiencies with a focus on creating scalable processes.

This role can be based in any of our EU offices in Luxembourg, UK, Ireland, Italy, Germany, Spain and France or Virtually

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree
• Demonstrable experience in the higher education, including vocational education and training, in EU

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• MBA/MS/MA preferred
• Project Management experience
• Fluency in multiple languages
