We are currently recruiting for 2 Senior Data Manager's to join our expanding Data Office based in Nottingham. As a Senior Data Manager you will have full end-to-end accountability for the Governance and stewardship of a nominated set of Experian's data assets throughout their Data Lifecycle. A Senior Data Manager is the supreme authority (subject matter expert) on all topics associated to those defined assets (regulatory, legal, commercial, sourcing, processing, storing, quality, monetising) and is an evangelist for the education and encouragement of world class Data Governance with the Experian organisation.
The Experian Data Office is a team dedicated to assuring world class standards are applied to the; control, management and processing of our most valuable assets, data. It is also dedicated to providing insight into data spanning many industries and sectors and using that insight to drive product and data strategy through innovation.
End-to-End accountability for a nominated set of data assets throughout their data lifecycle ensuring that:
Ensure our data processing and data management standards are effectively measured and successfully met with a consistent focus on data integrity
Assure our supplier management standards are effectively measured and successfully met
Set out clear objectives to our product management teams to ensure they are maximising the value of the assets in a fully compliant way whilst delivering new and innovative solutions for clients and customers
Guide our leaderships teams to ensure they have awareness and clarity on both the known risks and issues with the assets and our processing and publishing of them along with recommendations for removing and / or mitigating those risks
Provide our leadership teams with awareness and clarity on the commercial value that they bring to Experian via revenues from monetisation channels and costs (acquisition and operating)
Manage projects and investment cases to continually improve any of the above are thoroughly researched and accurately quantified to make recommendations to Data Office Leadership Teams for consideration and approval
Ensure any approved projects relating to the data assets have the necessary SME input and oversight from the Data Governance function (voice of the data subject)
