Senior Consultant - FS People Advisory Services

People Advisory Services (PAS) is one of the fastest growing teams in EY, providing end-to-end offerings to assist our clients in delivering on their people agendas. Our focus areas include:
  • Change management for major transformation projects
  • Organisational Design
  • HR function transformation programs and enabling technologies
  • Talent initiatives, such as workforce analytics, leadership development and culture change programs
  • Post-merger integration support
  • Learning and Development
Being in the Financial Services team within PAS means we work with clients who are influenced by the environment in which they operate. The team is working with some of the biggest names in the Financial Services sector as they address the challenges posed by market conditions, competition, customer trends and regulators to deliver real, sustainable change across all levels of their organisations.

Opportunities exist to contribute to the engagements and direction of the rapidly expanding PAS team, for individuals with a deep interest in People Advisory work, a proven delivery record and an enthusiasm for building a strong, focused team.

Your key responsibilities
Client responsibilities
  • Complete full life cycle delivery of transformation engagements
  • Demonstrate an understanding of operational environments in businesses
  • Support and work as part of account teams
  • Demonstrate experience of leading the completion of client deliverables
  • Focus on achieving project / programme goals and objectives to exceed client expectations
  • Adept at overcoming issues and barriers

Business Development responsibilities
  • Good insight of the market and purchasing trends
  • Ability to identify new business and develop existing engagements
  • Contribute to business development and client pursuit efforts by preparing proposals and delivering presentations to potential clients
Skills and attributes for success
  • Highly experienced management consultant / Transformation professional with relevant experience advising on a range of large scale initiatives and business change projects gained working in a professional services firm, global consultancy firm and/or large private and/or public sector organisation
  • Direct experience working within a large, complex, multinational organisation is desirable
  • Sector specialisation: strong insight into Financial Services is desirable
  • Holds a primary degree is desirable
  • Post graduate degrees and professional qualifications are also highly desirable e.g. MBA, CIPD, ACCA, CIMA, CTA

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Change Management: Experience across the multiple lifecycle stages of large scale transformation projects, including strategy definition, change design, communications, stakeholder management, implementation and ongoing embedding activities
  • Experience of working on projects gained working within a professional services firm, global consultancy firm and/or large private and/or public sector organisations
