The role of Sales Commission Administrator joins the Sales Transformation team, which is charged with finding and deploying solutions to ensure that the Applied Intelligence Sales & Business Development teams are constantly customer focused, have the best talented professionals and the right tools and connected systems so that from a customer's perspective we are responsive, focused on their needs and challenges and able to bring the best resolutions to bear. The core responsibility of this role is to ensure that all sales commission data, calculations and approvals are accurate, timely and authorised in line with the quarter-end payment schedules.
Please note this is currently a six month contract opportunity, with potential to become a permanent position.
What You'll Be Doing
Sales Commission Payment Process:
Operating as process owner to document, maintain and administer sales commission payment processes. Work with the wider group of sales operations, reward and finance process owners to implement successful end-to-end commission payments.
Ensure there is an appropriate escalation mechanism in place for exceptional payments.
Ensuring that the processes are applied consistently across AI unless there is a valid reason to deviate, and putting measures in place to drive process adherence.
Implementing and managing mechanisms to monitor key SIP elements are modelled and recorded appropriately.
Contribute to a culture of sales excellence across the Sales & Business Development Practice.
Sales Commission Data Accuracy:
Working closely with the Sales Operations teams to ensure that all data used for commission calculations are appropriate and accurate for the payment period.
Providing feedback and a voice to improvements and requirements.
Sales Commission System Implementation, Knowledge Management and Training:
Acting as a Subject Matter Expert for processes and systems that are part of the sales commission payment process.
Acting as a source of best practice guidance and knowledge to train the Sales Operations and related teams.
Accountable for providing the Sales Transformation Director with appropriate communication content to provide updates on relevant sales commission initiatives and developments.
What We're Looking For
Work experience in sales commission administration / management, including working knowledge of Sales Operations, Business Operations or Sales, with significant exposure to Sales management teams.
A general understanding of Sales systems such as Salesforce and SAP, and experience with financial modelling and analytical tools such as Excel.
Project management experience.
Able to apply data analysis, data modelling and quality assurance techniques. Ability to conduct sophisticated and creative analysis, yet translate those results to easily digestible messages, communications, and presentations.
