The Development Office is responsible for all fundraising at Tate, implementing strategies to raise support from the private sector for a variety of revenue and capital projects. It raises money from corporate events, membership and sponsorship, trusts and foundations, the public sector and individual donors.
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join one of the strongest fundraising teams in the UK today. Building relationships across and beyond the Development division, you will compile information on donors and prospects from over 60 countries, concisely conveying key content and highlighting opportunities to increase engagement. You will have experience of using multiple data sources, both internal and external, to distil the most relevant information for event briefing notes to ensure that approaches are strategic and aligned with organisational and donor needs.
You will have an interest in understanding international business networks and previous experience of prospect research, particularly related to high net worth individuals. Your excellent verbal and written communication skills, organised and flexible approach to multiple simultaneous projects, and attention to detail will be complemented by the ability to evaluate and organise information to facilitate decision making and meet deadlines.
