Job description

Location: Sheffield / Hybrid homeworking

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week/flexible days and/or hours (Mon-Fri)

Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum max depending on experience

THE ROLE

In this position you will be responsible for the Bank's procurement activity ensuring it is commercial and compliant, working with the wider Commercial and Procurement team and business stakeholders to ensure commercial and procurement support is provided to the business. You will also contribute to the function of the wider Commercial and Procurement team.

Through utilising your extensive experience and knowledge, you will provide robust, commercial advice and guidance to colleagues on all procurement matters, as well as being an expert resource in developing procurement strategy, coordinating and running public sector procurement exercises and in all aspects of contract management

You will contribute to compiling MI insights that provide management with high quality analysis of the Bank's procurement activities in order to inform strategic decision making; provide input into the business planning and budgeting process; and embed and develop continuous improvements

With extensive experience in public sector procurement, you will also be able to demonstrate extensive experience of being responsible for, leading on and running OJEU/Find a Tender. It is also essential that you have a good commercial procurement outlook and be able to provide commercially focused advise and have experience of professional services procurement.
