Partners are senior role models and strategic contributors across the business. Whilst the role of Partner will likely be a specialist within Leadership Consulting, Interim Leadership or Executive Search, the position is expected to understand the full suite of client solutions and how they best benefit clients and candidates. Partners will either become signature billers within the organisation or they will deputise for Practice Leader/members of the Executive team and continue to grow their career as an internal leader rather than external ambassador. Regardless of career focus, Partners are directly responsible for their own fee earning target within their discipline and sector.
What you'll do:
Contribute to research materials, marketing collateral and social engagement/events.
Speak at key conferences, and host roundtables as a recognisable and reputable face in industry.
Demonstrate and actively work to develop and maintain a high level of sector and/or discipline knowledge and a high level of contextual understanding of the market place.
Support Practice Leads with budget proposals and recommendations
Be accountable for a specific GP target which raises the bar in terms of 'platinum billing' potential.
Manage and where possible oversee the effective delivery of assignments, ensuring that Project Co-ordinators, researchers & consultants are having the opportunity to continually develop.
Role model a consulting approach, taking time to understand client needs and requirements, above and beyond any one GS solution.
Share insight to client challenges and priorities with others across GS to ensure the most appropriate colleagues are involved in maximising the account.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with clarity and confidence with a range of different audiences.
Ability to think creatively and use initiative in order to identify business development opportunities, conduct search, and develop professional knowledge and skill base.
Can assimilate complex briefs, undertake detailed and relevant market research and propose appropriate courses of action.
Ability to assimilate information from various sources and present it in a concise, structured manner
