Salary: £27,000 - £33,000 per annum plus company van and Veolia benefits

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.00am - 4.30pm

Location: Slough and around the South OR Cannock and around the Midlands (Mobile position with some overnight stays)

This exciting opportunity has become available due to internal harmonisation within Veolia to establish an independent internal network to encourage internal optimisation and business growth.

What will you be doing?

• Carry out work as per schedule supplied by the Services Manager and as per site policies, schedules and procedures.
• Complete site documentation before and after work tasks, as appropriate
• Participate in the appropriate training.
• Carry out dynamic risk assessments at the point of work.
• Update maintenance task list as appropriate

• All work on site to be carried out in accordance with site EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) and Veolia EHS rules and guidelines.

• Flexibility to work on equipment within a regional location
• Flexibility to work around Maintenance Shutdown's

• Be responsible for personal training curricula and ensure missing requirements are completed
• Ensure all tools and equipment are kept in good condition

What are we looking for?

• Recognised qualification City & Guilds PAT Testing (2377-77) or equivalent with previous experience in working in a similar role.
• Be familiar with all rules, regulations and statutory requirements.
• Understanding of the basic fundamentals of the various utilities systems and willingness to expand your working knowledge into mechanical and electrical systems.
• Familiar with building management systems.
• Understanding of preventive maintenance systems, computerised maintenance management work order systems, permit to work system, basic instrumentation, SOPs and GMP engineering systems.
• Previous hands-on experience with detailed knowledge in troubleshooting/repair of electrical systems.
• Good problem-solving skills and proactive attitude
