The British Council is the UK's international organisation for cultural relations and educational opportunities. British Council IELTS operates in over 140 countries globally. Specifically, the UK delivers IELTS through a combined network of both direct delivery test centres, and a partner test centre network (comprising of 50 organisations).

As a member of the wider British Council IELTS team. Working within the IELTS Marketing team, the post will support the IELTS UK & Ireland team, and the IELTS UK & Ireland test centre network. In addition, the post will be required to work closely with the IELTS Global Marketing team, large UK delivery team, and customer services team.

The successful individual will support the IELTS marketing activity throughout the UK and Ireland. Working with the UK & Ireland Marketing Manager you will assist with providing support on key projects, including; market research, competitor analysis, development of resources, event logistics and attendance, and general administration support.


  • Ideally experience working within a marketing team (3-6 months)
  • Marketing Degree or equivalent
  • Experience of digital marketing platforms such as Google Ads and Google Analytics is desirable, but not essential.'
  • Research Skills and demonstrable experience analysing trends
  • Advanced skills in office software, social media platforms
  • Excellent reporting and administrative skills
  • Experience of assisting with organising and deliveringevent schedule.
