What you'll be doing;

• Production and detailed analysis of monthly management accounts
• Completion of balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis
• Preparation of forecasts and budgets in conjunction with Operations
• Analysis of capex and preparation of business cases
• Regular site visits and interaction with operations to ensure accurate financial reporting and support to business development is achieved
• Provide support to annual audit process
• Business partner to Contract Managers, advising on financial aspects to improve efficiency and performance
• Ensure all contracts within the remit are complying with Group financial policies and procedures
• Overseeing the performance of general finance duties e.g. invoicing, monitoring systems, and accounting
• Interaction with key sales staff to analyse commercial tenders in terms of profitability

What we're looking for;

• Fully qualified ACCA, ACA or CIMA Accountant

• Experience gained in a commercial or professional environment, including use of financial systems e.g. SAP, SAGE, Workday.
• Multi-site account management and Business Partnering.

• Excellent spreadsheet skills
• Good organisation and ability to work to tight deadlines
• Strong presentation and communication
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Financial problem solving and analysis
• Broad system skills - working knowledge of Workday/SAP ideal
• Self-motivated
• Operationally astute
