Job description
We are seeking an Equality Diversity and Inclusion Manager to join our HR Team on a Fixed Term contract for 2 years. This is a key role in supporting the organisation to implement the EDI Strategy and action plan and act as a subject matter expert on EDI matters for the Programme.
You will ensure that the impact of our EDI-related actions are assessed for their effectiveness and that we continuously improve, providing proactive support working collaboratively with colleagues across the Programme. You will contribute to the review of our EDI Strategy by providing expertise and advice on best practice, taking into consideration industry research and legislative changes. Working with our procurement colleagues, you will support procurement tenders and supply chain contracts to ensure our supply chain are delivering against EDI and social value obligations.
To be successful in your application you will have in depth knowledge of the Equality Act (2010), particularly the Public Sector Equality Duty, and experience of developing and successfully implementing EDI initiatives. Your previous experience in a similar role within a complex project/programme or organisation will have honed your influencing skills and your ability to deliver effective training/workshops to a wide audience.

Salary circa £55,000 - 2 year fixed term contract (part-time would be considered on a pro-rated basis) Benefits include: - 30 days holiday plus publicholidays
