Salary: £45,000 per annum plus bonus (OTE £51,750) and Veolia benefits

Hours: 40 hours per week Monday - Friday (Overtime available)

Location: James Road, Tyseley, B11 2BA

What will you be doing?

Leading the maintenance and operation of the Tyseley Clinical Waste Incinerator as part of the ERF Maintenance Team, duties will include but are not limited;
  • Schedule Work Orders in CMMS System for Maintenance Team (PM's, Stat, Reliability, Routine)
  • Subject Matter expert for Technicians
  • Lead/Train CWI Operations team and maintain procedures/documents
  • Work closely with the operations team, and lead the maintenance team and contractors on site in the day to day activities to ensure that the plant is maintained to the highest standard and work is carried out in line with Veolia ERF safety rules and the VMR
  • Support the Maintenance Manager with technical information to aid budget planning CAPEX specification
  • Manage INFOR and perform scheduled PPM and emergency repairs on equipment, advise technical admin/stores person on equipment specifications for orders
  • Be visible during plant improvements and coordinate requirements for new designs, surveys, and maintenance schedules for equipment and machinery
  • Improve reliability and reduce cost of maintenance through robust management of change
  • Lead investigations on plant failures, determine root causes and recommend recovery plans with cost effective solutions to prevent re occurrence
  • Assistant project manager during outages. Support maintenance team/contractors with scheduling and planning
What are we looking for?
  • Recognised apprenticeship in EC&I / Mechanical Engineering or Technical Qualifications, City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent
  • NEBOSH/IOSH managing safely
  • Legionella / Asbestos awareness is desirable
  • Experience gained in plant operation and maintenance / boiler operation and maintenance is advantageous
