Job Summary The National Lottery Heritage Fund As the largest funder for the UK's heritage, our vision is for heritage to be valued, cared for and sustained for everyone, now and in the future. Our mission is to use our expertise to support and champion the UK's heritage and demonstrate the transformative potential of National Lottery funding through delivering our new strategy Heritage 2033. We ensure that money from the National Lottery makes a decisive difference for people, places and communities.
We are currently recruiting for two new Committee members to join the Midlands and East Committee from September 2024.
This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with an enthusiasm and commitment to heritage and the good outcomes that heritage delivers for communities and people to become involved in the Heritage Fund's work. The role will give you experience in grant-giving, consensual decision-making. As one of the only UK-wide Lottery funders, being a Committee member will give you a unique insight into how a national organisation works and give you experience of working towards one national strategy whilst also striving to achieve local priorities.
