What you'll be doing;- Responsible for the Chempac Team on the Hazardous site
- Line management of chemists
- Interaction with sales, operations and customers in providing a total service to the customer
- Carry out training for customers if required on packaging techniques and waste regulations
- Assessing disposal routes for waste, carrying out technical assessment on waste, matching waste types against site licence and sending vehicles to the right site, proposing other disposal for materials that cannot be accepted onto our sites such as explosive and radioactive materials
What we're looking for;- ADR Safety Training qualification
- UK Driving Licence
- Safety Qualification such as IOSH
- Computer literate
- Educated to HNC / degree level in Chemistry or other related discipline and at least two years experience at senior chemist level in the hazardous waste industry preferably in offsite work
