The vacancy

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as an Assistant Estimator.

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in our mission to secure land opportunities and evaluate land already under our control. Working closely with our experienced team, you will assist in the production and maintenance of robust cost plans and estimates, ensuring accuracy and reliability in our decision-making processes.

We're seeking someone with relevant estimating experience, ideally gained within the context of a commercial house builder. Your proficiency in taking off groundworks, earthworks, roadworks, paving, and drainage quantities will be invaluable as you contribute to the success of our projects. Whether you hold a degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or have acquired practical experience in the field, your expertise will be instrumental in driving our projects forward.

A keen understanding of new build residential development and building techniques is essential, as is an unwavering commitment to detail. Your exceptional communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to collaborate effectively within our team and liaise confidently with external stakeholders.

Flexibility is key in this role, as you'll be required to travel as and when necessary to support project requirements. Your exemplary organization skills, combined with a relentless drive for results, will ensure that you thrive in this fast-paced environment. Based in Wolverhampton with travel to Tewkesbury, Lichfield, or Chipping Sodbury, you'll enjoy a flexible week split between workspaces and home, offering the perfect balance. A Full UK Driving Licence and access to your vehicle are a must for this dynamic role.
