#LI-SB An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Experian Go to Market Banking / Barclays UK&I team as an Account Director.
Working as part of the core Account Team, you will lead the development of relationships and sales opportunities within one of Experian's most important Strategic Clients - Barclays UK (Retail Bank Portfolio).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Supporting the Strategic Client Director in developing and maintaining the Barclays business relationship • Achieving sales targets and growing the contracted revenue base • Building effective, quality client relationships, adding value and insight where appropriate • Leading virtual teams to identify, develop and close sales opportunities, through a consultative approach • Owning the Account Plan and co-ordinating Sales activity to support long term revenue growth • Providing accurate sales management information: business development plans, opportunity roadmaps, pipeline and revenue forecasts • Regularly presenting to clients to ensure they understand the functionality and benefits of Experian solutions • Facilitating the provision of high quality customer service • Actively contributing to a culture where the fair treatment of customers is at the heart of the Experian engagement • Adhering to all regulatory requirements and applying appropriate controls in the interests of our customers • Ensuring account administration, contracts, pricing and invoicing are maintained and accurate
The successful candidate will;
• have a proven track record in consultative B2B sales of large and complex solutions - ideally within Banking and Financial Services market (preferred but not essential) - and managing multi-million £ client relationships supporting revenue growth • be new business driven, with the ability to identify business opportunities and to create compelling client propositions • have a strong knowledge of the Experian product and service portfolio (preferred but not essential) • have excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong networking skills • have a strong understanding of enterprise architecture and solution design • have a good working knowledge of the credit lifecycle from acquisition though to customer management and then collections • have proven ability to work within a matrix environment, with virtual team management skills • have a high level of commercial awareness with the ability to understand client business strategies and challenges, identify opportunities, structure deals, negotiate and close sales • be passionate, enthusiastic and motivated
Self-motivation and leadership skills are required and the candidate is expected to bring energy and enthusiasm to the role, with new ideas to generate new business within the Barclays account.
