The CPS LGBT Network is a staff support network made up of CPS employees and exists to promote the interests of lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans (LGBT) employees. They aim to promote equality of opportunities and outcomes for LGBT people in the organisation and support the CPS in achieving access to justice for LGBT people.
CPS LGBT Network’s work includes:
Raising awareness of LGBT issues to promote equality and diversity within the Crown Prosecution Service.
Providing support, assistance and a safe space for LGBT employees.
Providing a forum for discussion of issues affecting LGBT staff.
Acting as an active partner with CPS in relation to the development of policies which affect LGBT employees or communities.
