Gender, Equality & Identity at Veolia

As part of our Inclusion Strategy we have removed 169 gendered job titles and continue to upskill our Talent Acquisition team to provide an inclusive recruitment and onboarding process, suited to each candidate's needs with each job description going through gender decoding too. Through this work, we have seen an overall increase in female colleagues joining Veolia, at all grades across the business.

We’ve recently created resources on menopause guidance, to help our colleagues learn more about menopause and discover how they can support team members with this, enabling them to feel and perform their best at work. Through this work we also launched a
Menopause Support Group, which allows colleagues who have experienced or are experiencing the menopause to come together and share their experiences with one another in a safe environment.

Everyone's health and wellbeing is a priority to us at Veolia. One of the initiatives in place to support our colleagues' wellbeing include our Wellbeing Site Visits, in partnership with Healthy Performance. These site visits enable our colleagues to see a health practitioner and undergo a health and wellbeing screening, whilst they are at work.

Since November 2022 we have carried out a combination of thyroid tests and prostate screening assessments on over 330 colleagues and we have many more site visits planned over 2023 and beyond!
