Welcome to VERCIDA website.
Skip to main contentWe work on a continual basis towards becoming more disability confident. We are committed to removing assumptions, barriers and challenges faced by people affected by disability. Our internal disability standards audit ensures that we are proactively managing our processes, policies and procedures around disability and long-term health conditions.
Shine
Shine is our disability employee resource group. It provides an open forum for employees with and without disabilities and/or long-term health conditions, and carers, an opportunity to share and discuss their experience of living with disability. The network’s aim is to provide support and advice whilst helping to raise awareness of disability and health-related topics. Shine’s ultimate goal is to enable the firm to create a level playing field for all to succeed and shine, irrespective of any disability or long-term health condition.
Are you #disabilityconfident?
In 2016, we launched a microsite aimed at breaking down communication barriers, challenging assumptions and becoming more confident about disability so that we can all get the best from each other. We want to put an end to feeling awkward about interacting with people for fear of doing the wrong thing.

Mental Health First Aid
We strive to cultivate a workplace where mental health problems are understood without stigma, where employee wellbeing is paramount and where both the firm and its people respond appropriately and effectively to mental health problems and challenges. The London office has signed the Time to Change employers’ pledge, reinforcing our commitment to changing how we think and act about mental health in the workplace and making sure that anyone facing these problems feels supported.
As part of our Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) programmeme, people from offices around the world volunteered to be trained as accredited MHFA officers and make themselves available on a confidential basis to colleagues needing support.
