West Midlands Association of Muslim Police is a force resource which provides support for all colleagues, the organisation and our communities.

Our Mission is to: 

"Always strive to serve the needs of our colleagues and protect our communities from harm."

The association was officially launched in 2007 and currently has 200 plus internal members made of police officers, support staff, PCSOs and Specials. The association is actively involved in daily operational business, as well being a key stakeholder in strategic organisational decision making. 

The Muslim community accounts for 12 per cent of residents of the West Midlands Police area, whereas the Muslim representation within the West Midlands Police employee breakdown is 1.6 per cent. In an effort to reduce this gap, some of the main strategic work of the association includes supporting recruitment and encouraging progression amongst our under represented communities.

The association has a number of members who are happy to engage with and support individuals who want to join West Midlands Police as officers, support staff, specials or volunteers.
