Leading the discussion will be Helene Reardon-Bond OBE. Helene is a leading UK expert on diversity and equality, advisor to the Lord Davies and Hampton Alexander Reviews and lead policy architect behind the gender pay gap reporting regulations. Helene established and has provided ongoing support to the Women’s Business Council, a government-backed, business-led initiative to help maximise women’s contribution to businesses and the UK economy.
Also speaking will be multi-award winning business and diversity leader Dr Miranda Brawn who will be our panellist and closing keynote. Miranda was one of the first women of colour on the trading floor in the 90s and today works as Director of Legal and Transaction Management at Daiwa. Throughout her career, Miranda has negotiated deals and legal contracts exceeding £5 trillion. She is also Founder & CEO of the Miranda Brawn Diversity Leadership Foundation helping to close the diversity gap. She is an advisor on diversity for the Mayor of London and Governmental D&I strategies including being an Equalities Commissioner for Lambeth Council. Miranda received a Doctor of Letters in 2017 from the University of Brighton for her contribution and services to business, financial services, law, diversity and the next generation across the Globe.
