Public Sector Fraud Authority

The newly formed Public Sector Fraud Authority (PSFA) sits at the heart of government, reporting to HM Treasury and the Cabinet Office. Its remit covers policy and practice on reducing fraud against the public purse, primarily across national government but also working with devolved administrations and local governments. The Authority advises HM Treasury and Cabinet Office ministers as well as working collaboratively with all government departments. At its core is the building of capability and capacity, as it runs the world’s first counter fraud profession.
