NHS Supply Chain
NHS Supply Chain is a £4bn organisation, responsible for leveraging the national spending power of the NHS, to manage over 600k products for best national leverage and resilient supply. NHS Supply Chain recently launched a new 10-year strategy for the business and identified the need to transform the way it interacts digitally with Trusts and suppliers, to facilitate improved decision making and greater insight. It works with customer groups from large Acute Trusts (B2B), to providing Home Delivery Services, and services over 50k customers across its current suite of solutions.
Whilst SCCL (Supply Chain Coordination Limited, the management function of NHS Supply Chain) operates with an independent Board, it is a part of the NHS and overseen by NHS England. The overarching purpose for NHS Supply Chain is ‘To help the NHS to save lives and improve health’.
