The New Hospital Programme (NHP) will transform the way healthcare infrastructure is delivered
for the future NHS. With a target to build 40 new hospitals in England by 2023, it is the biggest
hospital building programme in a generation. Drawing on best practice and expertise both
nationally and locally, the NHP will enable the NHS to provide world-leading experiences. It will
improve outcomes for each and every patent, the public and our NHS colleagues.
