Crown Commercial Service (CCS) helps organisations across the entire public sector to save time and money on buying their everyday goods and services. CCS is an Executive Agency and Trading Fund, sponsored by the Cabinet Office.
CCS delivers commercial benefits for UK central government, arm’s length bodies and the wider public sector, with a vision to be the provider of choice for public sector organisations seeking commercial and procurement solutions across the key common spend pillars of technology, people services, corporate services and buildings.
CCS has come a long way since its formation in 2014 and our ambitions for the next 2 years are clear: we will deliver £3bn of commercial benefits across the procurement of common goods and services by 2023/24 across £34.8bn of spend. But we also have to look beyond, and our organisational strategy aims to do just that. To support these ambitions, we are seeking to expand our leadership team through the appointment of a Chief Commercial Officer.
