WWF’s Finer Diner is collaborating with Sodexo and YSJ to bring plant-based food samples to students and staff.
This WWF and Future 50 project, aims to encourage students and university staff to sample (and enjoy!) plant-based meal options and understand the environmental benefits of eating more plant-based meals.
The two-day activation pop-up in Holgate on Monday 14 and Tuesday 15 October will include a tasting session with three different plant-based meals. These are available in the dining room as well as three different plant-based cake options. There is also a discovery board to help you find out more about the environmental and health benefits.
WWF is the world’s leading independent conservation organisation with a mission to create a world where people and wildlife can thrive together. We are very proud and excited to be working in partnership with WWF on a project that will help YSJ students understand how a plant-based diet can help the environment. With this in mind, catering will offer legacy plant-based dishes on our menu in the dining room to facilitate the behavioural change after the project launch.
WWF and YSJ staff members are holding talks on the topic of sustainability across the 2 dates.
