We are reaffirming our unwavering commitment to equality for all by taking actions to fight racism, create more opportunities for employment and advancement, and become more inclusive and diverse.
We are setting goals that will make our company more representative of the communities in which we work and have committed to increasing our ethnic and racial representation in South Africa, the UK and the US by 2025.
We are developing comprehensive plans for recruitment, retention, staffing, sponsorship and advancement to help fulfill these goals—and remain focused on including the broadest range of qualified individuals for opportunities.
We are providing new mandatory training that will support our people in identifying and speaking up about racism. It is now available in the US, coming soon in the UK and Ireland, and will be available in South Africa and several more countries this year.
Finally, we are making community investments that leverage our unique strengths. For example, in the US we recently launched the Black Founders Development Program to help Black entrepreneurs advance their technology businesses.
Together, we can drive change. There is much hard work to do, but I am encouraged by the dialogue and action happening around the world. Taking these steps to fight racism is essential to ensuring that Accenture is a place where everyone can succeed both personally and professionally, has equal opportunity, and feels they truly belong.
