Achieving gender balance is critical to our success as a business and has the full support of our UK business leaders. Breakthrough our women’s development programme is part of our commitment to giving women at the mid to mid-senior level focused learning and upskilling opportunities to help break through and navigate any barriers faced, and continue to build a successful and fulfilling career within Teneo.
Aims of Breakthrough
The programme has been designed in partnership with ShapeTalent, a specialist gender equity consultancy, and aims to:
- Provide a structured opportunity to develop authentic approaches to leadership through a combination of theory, discussion, practice and reflection in a highly experiential learning environment in which discussions can evolve more rapidly through shared understanding and experience
- Enable and support more women for career success within leadership roles
- Provide a springboard for breaking through the barriers that exist for women in the workplace
- Support women to explore and overcome work related challenges through targeted problem solving, coaching, sponsorship and peer support
- To build a strong pipeline of future women leaders within Teneo
It will be delivered by a collaborative team of in-house experts and specialist trainers and coaches from Shape Talent through a structured 7 month programme supporting sustainable change through the following elements:
- Focused learning sessions
- Strengths identification and development
- Senior sponsorship
- Group coaching
- Peer learning and networking
