Global law firm Reed Smith has been named a finalist in the inaugural Engage Awards 2016 for Best use of Innovation in respect of its Executive Essentials client learning programme.
The Engage Awards are the only customer and employee engagement industry awards in the UK.The programme was developed in response to requests from clients for bite-sized management training tailored to the entertainment and media sector. The firm partnered with Cambridge University’s Executive Education team to launch the programme in March 2016 and it consists of eight modules held every two months over the year. Topics include: leadership and Board-level management skills, achieving growth and profitability in the fast-evolving media and entertainment sector, and building and leading high-performing teams.
Director of global learning and development, Nigel Spencer, commented: “We are delighted to be named as a finalist in the Engage Awards. We always try to think creatively about how we partner with clients to help them achieve their business goals. Feedback on the programme has been very positive so far and we’re excited to build on that success over the rest of the course.”
This year’s winners will be announced at the Westminster Park Plaza Hotel on Tuesday 8 November.
