Registration for the fourth Dive In Festival opens 13th July!
Dive In encourages and celebrates diversity and inclusion (D&I) in insurance, highlighting the business case for diverse workplaces and providing practical ideas for how to bring about positive change.
It was created by Inclusion@Lloyd’s, a collaboration between the Corporation of Lloyd’s, IUA, LIIBA, and the Lloyd’s Market Association.
The festival will take place from 25 to 27 September, with insurance organisations holding events in 26 countries to raise awareness of D&I issues and inspire change.
After three years of raising awareness of the business case for D&I, Dive In now wants to encourage action across the sector with a two-year campaign called ‘Awareness into Action’.
In support of this, this year’s festival theme is #time4inclusion. Last year, time was singled out by CEOs as the biggest barrier to achieving inclusive cultures in their organisations.
QBE will be holding its own Dive In event on 25 September with a theme of ‘Global Workforce and Global Ways of Working’.
European Operations CEO, Richard Pryce, said: “QBE is delighted to be taking part in the Dive In Festival again this year. As part of our ongoing efforts to promote diversity and eliminate discrimination in the workplace, we welcome the increased focus this brings on this crucial issue.
“Only by tackling issues around diversity and inclusion in the insurance industry will we be able to benefit from the different skills and experience that everyone can bring to the workplace.”
In 2017, the festival attracted more than 7,000 people in 17 countries and 32 cities.
