Welcome to VERCIDA website.
Skip to main contentOur Moving Forward project, offered in Scotland by Prospects Glasgow, can help if you have autism or Asperger syndrome, are aged 16-25 and interested in looking for work, volunteering, or going to college or university.
The project aims to help you develop your social confidence, employability and independent living skills.
What the project involves
The Moving Forward project consists of two modules: 'Building independence' and 'First steps to employment'. Depending on the support you feel you need to move towards employment, you'll either start on the 'Building independence' module, or go straight into 'First steps to employment'.
Each module lasts for six weeks. You'll come to our office for one half-day per week, where you'll work in a small group with other people on the course.
Everyone who completes Module 2 will receive a job-search pack, and will be able to contact Prospects for advice on job-seeking and interviews for the next six months.
Interested in taking part?
If you are aged between 16 and 25, have a diagnosis of autism or Asperger syndrome and feel that you would benefit from the type of assistance we've described here, we would be pleased to hear from you.
You'll need to be able to travel to our office in Glasgow to take part in the Moving Forward project.
