CBRE's offices around the UK are showing their support for this year's Macmillan Coffee Morning.
Our inspiring charity partner, Macmillan Cancer Support, works to raise money to provide vital cancer services, research and campaign to achieve better cancer care. We take our leadership role in the real estate industry to heart.
Macmillan Cancer Support is one of the largest British charities that provides specialist health care, information and financial support to people affected by cancer. The partnership with CBRE started in 2021and will be in place for at least two years with a target of raising half a million pounds, focusing on increasing the provision of services that will reduce social isolation and provide financial security for those living with cancer.
In the UK, one in two people will receive a cancer diagnosis in their lifetime, and alongside physical and mental health fears, cancer can cost people their jobs, financial security and even their homes. The money raised will fund eight Macmillan Support Line employees to provide vital online support to over 22,000 people with emotional, financial or work-related concerns. In addition, CBRE will activate its colleagues through pro bono work and volunteering.
