Return to work with ISG's Returners Programme

ISG is partnering with consulting, coaching and network organisation, Women Returners, to host an online event for its new Returners Programme.  

Aimed at supporting returning professionals whose previous careers were in construction and the built environment, the programme will support talented professionals, who have taken an extended career break, as they return to the workplace.  

If you’ve had a career break of 18 months or more, and are interested in returning to work, sign up to our live event to find out more about the six-month programme.  

The event will be an opportunity to showcase how ISG can support you in building on your career and experiences, and developing your skills in a progressive, work environment.  

The programme will open for applications on Wednesday 26 April 2023. 

What can you expect from the programme? 

• A six-month paid employment opportunity, with a strong possibility of a permanent role at the end of the programme 
• Specialised coaching from Women Returners to support your return to the workplace 
• A mentor to guide you through your Returners placement 
• A buddy to assist you in learning the ropes 
• Access to a suite of training and learning opportunities 
• A programme of learning and networking opportunities with ISG leaders  
• An opportunity to revamp your skills, update your CV with new experience, and grow your network.

ISG offers hybrid office/home working and all flexible working requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis with the manager. 

About the event 

Join us for a morning of information gathering, networking and support. At the event you will hear from ISG in a panel discussion and Q&A before participating in the ISG business, benefit from a return-to-work workshop delivered by Women Returners. The event will conclude with some virtual networking and have the opportunity for Q&A.

Who is it for? 

To be eligible and apply for the event and programme, you must be an experienced professional who has the right to work in the UK and has taken a career break of 18 months or more as of September 2023. You may have been working on a part-time, or freelance, basis to fit around your other commitments, or you may not have done any paid work during this time. 

ISG is keen to hear from people who have worked in construction and the built environment. Applicants will need previous experience in one or more of the following areas: 

• Design & Design Management – London, Whitstable, Reading, Manchester, Bradford 
• Project Management – National 
• Planning - National 
• Commercial – National 
• Building & Technical Services – National
