Celebrating Women’s History Month at Gumtree UK and Motors

To celebrate Women’s History Month this March, our Women in Action Community group used the opportunity to create meaningful moments that really made a difference in our everyday lives. So here's a glimpse into what we’ve been up to this March.

Spotlighting women's achievements: Throughout the month, we've been highlighting the remarkable accomplishments of women, from pioneers in science and literature to trailblazers in business and activism, we've celebrated the women who inspire inclusion in unique ways.

Raising awareness on women's health: We recognise the importance of raising awareness of women's health issues so we can support our colleagues, partners, family and friends. Thanks to AXA Health who facilitated a webinar that increased our understanding of women’s health topics and shared strategies for leading healthy lives.

We’ve invested in Menopause Champion training: As an often overlooked stage in women's lives, a handful of colleagues will be attending Menopause Champion training. By equipping ourselves with knowledge and resources, we hope to proactively raise awareness of menopause at work and break the stigma associated with it.

Resilience Workshop | Learning To Thrive, Not Just Survive: In a workshop led by Executive Coach Kate Matrunola, we explored strategies for building resilience and learning to thrive. We explored tools to navigate professional and personal hurdles with resilience, grace and by setting clear boundaries. Shoutout to Kate - you’re awesome!

Fireside Chat with Senior Leaders: Hannah and Michelle, two of our own inspiring senior leaders shared their powerful stories of navigating career challenges, setting boundaries and advice to their younger selves. Hearing their stories was an important reminder to believe in ourselves!

As Women's History Month draws to a close, we’ll continue uplifting women’s achievements year-round.
