The CBRE UK Faith Network recently held focus groups with its members to identify ways in which we can better support colleagues who hold faith or religious beliefs. The guide provides an overview of the key themes and areas where we can recognise and celebrate different faiths, religions, and beliefs, and promote an inclusive workplace for all.
Feedback helps us to build an understanding of the different barriers and challenges faced by colleagues from under-represented groups and drive meaningful resolutions for our people.
This guide helps our employees to understand how they can play a part in creating an environment where everyone feels like they belong.
Chris Tregilgas, Co-Chair of the Faith Network said, "Over the past two years, I have seen fewer people of faith leave the business and those that are part of our network feel more comfortable to be recognised for their faith. This year all employees will be able to self-select 2 company Christmas holiday days to be taken at different times to celebrate their own faith or cultural holidays."

From 2023, following consultation with our Faith Network, we are now broadening our 'Christmas Leave' allocation, welcoming employees to take these two additional days alongside any religious holiday throughout the year, as they wish. These days should be agreed upon in advance with the manager.
