CBRE marks World Bipolar Day

World Bipolar Day was celebrated on 30 March as part of CBRE Ability Network’s Awareness Series. The aim of this event was to raise awareness of bipolar conditions, with the goal of eliminating any stigmas and educating our colleagues.
A team member discussed her lived experience with this condition and how it impacts her personal and professional life. The audience also benefitted from information on the mental support CBRE offers.
Events like this are important in CBRE’s mission to ensure that every employee can bring their whole self to work. The next event in CBRE’s Awareness Series is a presentation from Bromley Mencap, an award-winning independent, self-funded charity working with disabled people, families and carers. CBRE GWS has supported three work placements from this charity and this event will showcase the experiences of some of these individuals.
