CBRE's Proud Network is for everyone! Whether you're Proud to be LGBTQ+, Proud to be an ally (parent, friend, colleague) or simply Proud to be you, we have something for everyone.

We offer mentoring, support, socials and discussion platforms to encourage debates, networking and fun. Our members will gain insight, confidence, support, knowledge and a fun new network to be around. Lastly, and most importantly, you will be contributing to creating a more inclusive culture at CBRE.

 

CBRE’s Coming Out Guide – a milestone for workplace LGBTQ+ Inclusion!

We are extremely PROUD to launch the Coming Out Guide at CBRE, a document dedicated to supporting those who wish to come out in the workplace and those supporting their journey. It has been developed jointly by the UK Advisory and GWS DE&I teams and PROUD networks. Coming out is a personal experience that does not happen once in a lifetime: it can happen many times in just one day. At times it can require a lot of emotional energy and often individuals question whether or not they feel comfortable and supported in coming out.

This means ensuring that our LGBTQ+ colleagues find CBRE an inclusive place to work, where ‘coming out’ in the workplace is an experience in which our people feel safe, valued and heard.

Everyone! Individuals who want support and guidance on coming out in our workplace and for managers/colleagues to better support and understand those individuals.

EG LGBTQ+ survey highlights CBRE as an exemplary firm

Estates Gazette’s annual LGBTQ+ Attitudes and Actions in Real Estate Survey has highlighted CBRE as one of 27 real estate organisations praised by employees for promoting inclusivity across their businesses and the sector. Among the agents, CBRE was mentioned repeatedly as leading the way with new internal policies and an emphasis on providing training and changing culture was highlighted.
