Mindful Business Charter (MBC)

We are proud to have been founding members along with Barclays and Addleshaw Goddard of the Mindful Business Charter, which seeks to change avoidable working practices that can cause mental health and wellbeing issues for employees. We are committed to a set of four principles: openness and respect; smart meetings and communications; respecting rest periods; and mindful delegation. The MBC aims to re-establish some of the boundaries between our personal and professional lives, which is particularly important as we see a greater shift to more agile / hybrid ways of working.   

As part of our adoption of the MBC, we are committed to integrating the principles of the Charter in to all our client relationships along with encouraging and supporting clients to also integrate the principles into their work.

Mental Health Champions

Our Mental Health Champions were established to help tackle the stigma that is often associated with talking about mental ill health. The role of the Champion is to be a friendly, supportive figure focussed on creating a healthy and inclusive work environment for everyone and signposting to internal and external resources. We currently have over 300 Mental Health Champions firmwide. 

Our Mental Health Champions act as advocates for wellbeing day-to-day but also regularly come together to highlight internal and external resources for colleagues to use when needed. Most recently, the champions hosted office-wide events during our annual Wellbeing Month to provide an opportunity to come together and talk about wellbeing.
